Need of the Programme:
The training program on quality control of frozen semen production aims to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to ensure the highest standards in frozen semen production covering quality control aspects in semen collection, processing, cryopreservation, and storage as envisaged in MSP for semen production. The program emphasizes quality control measures to enhance reproductive success in artificial insemination. Participants will gain proficiency in assessing sperm viability, concentration, motility, QC testes as mentioned in MSP as well as mastering the good lab practices (GLP) in quality control testing. The training includes hands-on practical sessions, and theoretical modules in quality control tests concerned to sperm quality and evaluation. This will benefit the quality control officers in ensuring the supply of high-quality frozen semen for effective reproductive management in livestock and animal breeding programs.
Impact of the Programme:
The hands-on training for bull frozen semen evaluation and quality control significantly enhances participants' expertise. Through immersive, real-world scenarios, attendees gain a deep understanding of intricate processes, acquiring skills to assess sperm characteristics with precision. This ensures meticulous implementation of quality control measures in frozen semen production. Enhances the future planning for quality semen production. Direct engagement with lab techniques boosts confidence, elevating overall standards. The training empowers professionals in semen stations, enabling them to actively contribute to enhanced reproductive outcomes and the success of breeding programs.
